Dr. Philip Iuliano received a Certificate of Appreciation and nomination for a 2007 Circle of Excellence Award at Carolinas Medical Center-Union for his response to an ACT team call where he assisted nursing with a patient (not his own), stabilizing the patient for transfer to the CCU and canceling his own schedule patients in order to do so.
