Continuing Education

Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute offers various continuing education conferences throughout the year. Some of these programs have been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and are jointly sponsored with Carolinas HealthCare System in order for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and other clinical personnel to obtain Category 1 CME credit.

The Carolinas HealthCare System is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. CHS adheres to the ACCME standards regarding industry support of continuing medical education. Disclosures of faculty and commercial support relationships, if any, will be made known at the activity.
